Description
The task scenario is based around an IT Training business delivering a variety of Microsoft and Accounting courses to local businesses. Students are asked to do a variety of tasks in Word including finishing a Job Profile for a new position, designing a poster for a free training course, make changes to the trainer rota and finishing a business letter. There are spreadsheet tasks that require students to create different charts, format and edit data, use basic arithmetical formulas (+, /, *,-) and the common functions of Autosum, Count, Average, Max and Min. There are tasks on analysing course places as a % of a maximum number, completing invoices where a discount is given and creating graphs. There are several database tasks around marketing to local businesses and associate trainer information. Students are asked to add to an existing database table, turn the table into a Form and create simple Queries and Reports.
Included in each pack are suggested solutions and help sheets.
