Welcome to Build Your Skill Resources

High-quality, flexible resources to support Business and IT courses in schools and colleges.

Build Your Skill Resources is an online store offering high-quality, on-screen and paperless educational materials to support Business and IT courses in secondary schools, colleges and training environments.

Our resources are designed to support Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word and Access, alongside a range of tasks that develop understanding across key functional areas of business. They are particularly suited to Administration and IT and Business Management within the Scottish curriculum, as well as Business Studies, Business Administration and ICT-related subjects across the UK and further education.

Each resource is written to engage learners and provide meaningful practice, with clear step-by-step instructions, helpful hints and practical tasks that build confidence and reinforce understanding.

Most resources are fully paperless, using instructional comment boxes to guide learners through activities, helping to reduce printing and make efficient use of departmental budgets. With Microsoft 365 and app access, resources can be used flexibly across devices, allowing students to work in class or independently.

Teacher solutions and exemplar answers are included with every resource, supporting delivery and enabling students to check their own progress.

We believe that regular, structured practice is key to developing confidence and competence. For many learners, the opportunity to revisit and apply skills repeatedly makes a real difference. Build Your Skill Resources is designed to support that journey.
