BYS [FINV1006] – Income Statements (Level 2)

Description

The Level 1 pack was written more with the subject of Business Management in mind, but Level 2 has specifically been written to support N5 Accounting. The tasks build up in difficulty in terms of help with layout and adjustments. Tasks 1 and 2 focus on layout and inserting the ledger entries in the correct place. Task 3 and 4 introduce depreciation with Tasks 5 and 6 also including provision for bad debts. Accrual and prepayment are looked at specifically in Tasks 7, 8 and 9. From Task 10 onward practice with all types of adjustments are included in the notes to the accounts. With tasks 12 – 15, there is no layout help, aside from accounting columns. Formulas have been entered in Tasks 1 to 11 but they can easily be removed to make the tasks more challenging. Solutions are included in the pack.
