Description

This pack starts with brief look at what accounting is and the features of a sole trader. There is a section of payment types and the features of a bank statement and digital banking. There are then tasks on the basics of double entry bookkeeping, moving onto more challenging ledger work. However, VAT has not been introduced at this stage and the starter tasks focusses on how a sole trader would first account for the various business transactions. The last part of the pack introduced features of a statement of financial position at a very basic level. There are then 25 spreadsheet tasks starting with simply entering data in the correct position, then adding a few simple formulas.
