Here’s a wee freebie – an extra bonus lesson created in the same style as my new 32 lesson Business, Enterprise & Future Skills resource pack.
It gives you a flavour of the style, structure and activities in the full pack, while exploring a very current topic – AI in business.
This ready-to-use lesson explores the role of AI in business and asks students to consider an important question: Should businesses replace people with AI?
Students will explore what AI and people do well, consider different business situations and decide whether AI, people or both would be the best choice.
The lesson includes:
- PowerPoint presentation
- student tasks
- extension activities
- suggested solutions
- options to complete activities digitally or on paper
Designed with S1–S2 / 12–13-year-old students in mind, the lesson can be used by a Business teacher or as a ready-to-go cover lesson.
Please note that I’ve developed it with the new CIC Technologies in mind hence the reason for having LI + SC as well as a “Know Do Understand” slide in each PowerPoint.
Looking ahead to CIC Technologies
I’ve developed this resource pack with the emerging CIC Technologies course in mind, based on the information available so far.
You’ll notice that each PowerPoint includes both Learning Intentions and Success Criteria and a Know | Do | Understand slide. I’ve deliberately included both approaches at this stage so the resources remain flexible while we wait for further detail about the new course.
As more information becomes available, I’ll continue to review the resources and make any changes that are needed.
